If memory serves me right, this is about a character initialed J.F. in a younger form. This page doesn’t correspond to the story the character comes from. I don’t want to give too much away and I kind of have to finish creating his background information (the details, ya’ know).
History:
I don’t usually draw in this kind of style. The page was drawn as an experiment (years back) to see if I could draw a comic. Well, it didn’t go that far, but at the time, I proved I could make at least a page and it helped again when I attempted to finalize it. So I guess I can make whole manga pages. And it doesn’t come out that bad. This tutorial [link] helped so much for a person on a low budget and had no clue about screentones , thanks so much

The shading in general was a major pain in the butt, but there’s so much more to learn. Is there any tutorial about what screentones to use for what colors you want to illustrate? Everyone has their own style of using screentones but just the basics like if there is an orange color would you want to use a light screen tone or medium? Things like that. Just send me a message or leave a comment, that’d be so helpful! Thanks.
